Show Your "Purple Pride" and "Pack the House" on Feb. 11
Across the nation, universities are competing with each other to see which women’s basketball programs can creatively execute a sell-out crowd or see the highest percentage increase of attendance for a single game record based on previous years. Tennessee Tech University’s highest previous attendance was 6,113 on February 3, 1990. We hope to surpass the standing attendance record with your support at our upcoming “Pack The House” event on Thursday, February 11th with a doubleheader against Murray State beginning at 5:30. This is also “Think Pink” night and we encourage fans to wear something pink in support of breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses and in communities through an initiative from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
In support of the “Pack The House” effort, Chick-Fil-A will be giving everyone in attendance goodies including free sandwich cards, miniature cows and t-shirts along with a chance for one fan to win free food for a year. US Cellular will also be on hand with rally towels for fans during the games.
We invite you to support the Golden Eagles and show your Purple Pride on Thursday, February 11th as the Golden Eagles take on Murray State with the women’s game tipoff at 5:30 followed by the men’s game at 7:30. We are offering all Chamber members eight free tickets to this event, so please call the Ticket Office at (931) 372-3940 to make arrangements for what promises to be an exciting evening of collegiate basketball with an electric atmosphere in the Hooper Eblen Center. If additional tickets are needed, we offer discounted rates for groups of 25-49 at $3 each, 50-99 at $2 each and 100 or more at only $1 each per game if purchased in advance by calling the Ticket Office at (931) 372-3940 before game day.
We look forward to seeing you help “Pack The House” and wear something pink on Thursday February 11th in the Eblen Center. Show the Purple Pride you have in Tennessee Tech basketball by cheering the Golden Eagles to victory. Thank you for your support of our basketball programs.
