Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery
CELINA, TN. A federal facility operated by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, rearing rainbow, brown and lake trout for release into federal waters.
Directions: From I-40, take exit 280 (Baxter/Gainsboro exit). Turn north onto TN-56 and proceed to Gainsboro, TN. Turn north on TN-53 and proceed to Celina, TN. Follow signs to hatchery (2 miles on right after crossing Obey River Bridge).
Burgess Falls State Natural Area
Fishing is year-round. Most common catches are large and small mouth bass, brim and carp. The most popular fishing sites are along the lake, below the dam and below the main falls. The waters of Center Hill Lake reach the base of Burgess Falls. There is no boat ramp. Anglers age 13 and older must have a valid Tennessee fishing license.

8:00 a.m. until 30 minutes before sundown when gates are closed.
**Park is closed when the river is high or when there is snow on the roads and/or trails.
Cumberland Mountain
The park offers fishing on Byrd Lake and visitors can expect catches of catfish, bass, bluegill and bream. Fishing from the bank is allowed except for posted areas.
Fall Creek Falls
A Tennessee license and park permit are required to fish in the 345-acre Fall Creek Falls Lake. Fall Creek Falls is the home of two state record catches, Channel Catfish and Bream. The lake also offers largemouth bass. Fishing in the creeks is also allowed. No privately owned boats or gasoline motors are allowed on the lake. Pedal boats, canoes and aluminum fishing boats may be rented through the park office. Please bring your own trolling motor and battery.

Edgar Evins State Park
Edgar Evins State Park encompasses approximately 6,000 acres on the shores of Center Hill Reservoir in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee. It provides excellent recreational opportunities and accommodations on one of the most beautiful reservoirs in Tennessee. The park was named in memory of James Edgar Evins, an outstanding leader and former state senator who was instrumental in the development of Center Hill Dam and Reservoir. Mr. Edgar Evins was the father of former U.S. Representative, Joe L. Evins.
Fishing
Beautiful Center Hill Lake has become a very popular fishing and water-skiing area. Fishermen can expect catches of largemouth, smallmouth and Kentucky bass as well as catfish, crappie, walleye, white bass, bluegill and bream. Grab a can of worms and a fishing rod and fish from the bank anywhere in the park except near the boat launch ramps. Professional fishermen are drawn by the three species of bass found at the lake and several tournaments thrive at the lake. Fishermen need to make sure to obtain the proper Tennessee fishing license from any sporting good store or the marina.
Marina
The marina located at Edgar Evins State park is open year round. The facility includes 300 slips, 250 which are covered. A full service dock is available. Dock fees are determined by the size of the slip. Fishing boats, ski boats, pontoon boats, house boats, deck boats, and bass boats may be rented at the marina.

Lake Acorn: 17 Acres
The Boat dock on Lake Acorn will be open for the summer 2007 season from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Canoes, paddle boats and jon boats are available for rent Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sat. thru Sun., 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. After Labor Day weekend, privately owned boats are allowed on the lake provided your boat does not have an outboard motor attached. Trolling motors are allowed.
Lake Woodhaven: 50 Acres
Lake Woodhaven has a year round boat launch available to the public. Trolling motors are allowed as long as the boat does not have an outboard motor attached. There is no charge to use the boat launch.

Boating/Fishing
Boating and fishing are very popular on Center Hill Lake as well as on Great Falls Lake. There is a free public launching ramp on Great Falls Lake. The Blue Hole, on Center Hill Lake, lies adjacent to the park shore and is the spawning ground for the walleye in Center Hill Lake. It is considered one of the finest fishing places in the state. It is accessible via a boat launching ramp located in the park. Fishing is best in the spring, but visitors enjoy boat riding and skiing well into the fall.
Fish catches include bass, musklunge, and bluegill. Valid Tennessee Fishing license is required.
Standing Stone
Year-round fishing on the lovely, 69-acre Standing Stone Lake is a popular activity among park guests. Wildlife is abundant with sightings of beaver, muskrat, deer, turtles, and Blue Herons a common occurrence.
Visitors may fish from the bank of Standing Stone Lake and enjoy catching a variety of fish such as large-mouth bass, blue gill, crappie, lake trout and channel catfish.
