The Chamber invites you to come see the Convention & Visitor Bureau's brand-new Highlands Visitor Center, now open at 470-A Neal St. in Cookeville. The 1,870-square-foot facility focuses on the Highlands counties of Putnam, Overton and White, plus the surrounding 11 Upper Cumberland counties.
Features include:
  • Interactive displays of local attractions
  • Fine arts and craft items from local and emerging artists
  • Historical exhibits
  • A 32-inch flat-screen TV showing scenes of the Highlands
  • A wall-sized map that highlights points of interest in the Upper Cumberland.
